Loving has already been traumatized once this year - Ethan Overlion, the owner of Golden Vista Equestrian Center, was killed.
The Overlions had been struggling through as best they could until now. Ethan's older brother who has never liked horses has come back to Loving with some information about Ethan's will including land that now belongs to him and a child that had been a secret kept for 13 years.

Our first update of the new year! Alright! We sure hope you're having an awesome beginning to this new decade! On to other matters, we'd like to inform you that the January OTM's have been added. Instead of having everyone vote on them(hardly anyone voted anyway), we've each, Irishy, Revverse, and Turvi, chosen the ones we liked, and from that chose who was to be in each place. The link to the thread with the reasons why we chose the ones we did is in the OTM sidebar. Thank you for being so active, members! We're so very happy to see that BN is as important to you as it is to us.

The Namesake of the Bridewell River Equine Ranch runs along the back edge of these sprawling 175+ acres. About Fifteen minutes from town, this place was used as a cattle ranch for many generations, up until about Thirty years ago. The Roizens built it up from nothing, and now it stands with a two story, five bedroom home, a twenty stall barn, a large outdoor ring, and two round pens.
Golden Vista Equestrian Center sits on over 100 acres of different trails, and is home to the Overlions. Ethan Overlion is the one who nearly Twenty years ago began creating what this place is today, a two story, six bedroom home sits near the Mare and Gelding barn. The Stallion barn is tucked farther away from everything else, more for the Stallions' sake. An outdoor ring sits between the two barns, and the indoor ring is the first building you see as you drive up. Each barn has two round pens near them.
This is your typical diner. They have a simple menu but their food is wonderful. Open Twenty-Four seven, Three sixty-five. Perhaps that's why so many locals come here, thus, it's always busy.
Also known as LML this is the library for the town of Loving. You can do anything from research, reading, homework, or using the computers set in the back. Just make sure you keep your voices down!
Lollipop Avenue is your typical ice cream and candy store. During the winter months they sell the best cocoa you can get you're hands on. I wouldn't recommend coming here expecting to be warmed up, it's always quite chilly.
For the new Arrivals in town, there is Motel Five. It's not a typical Motel, as it is kept neat, and much tidier than most Motels. It's one story, and has Twenty rooms.
The Cold Blue is the only bar in loving, Montana. It's a few blocks down from Motel Five, and the front porch is where the locals like to sit and gossip. It's been the scene for many drunken bouts, but it's a pretty safe joint, considering.
General's Feed and Tack has been around for quite some time, even before Loving was split by the two families. Jim Rodale runs the place, and does his best to stay away from the conflict, mostly because the two barns both buy from him.
Need to pick up a few things for dinner, or maybe fill up on gas before you head home? Here's the place to make you're stop. Though they don't have much selection in their groceries, mostly canned or bagged goods, they've got mostly anything you need. The only problem is, if you need real groceries, you have to head to Bozeman or a bigger city for that. For Loving, this is what you've got. Take it or Leave it.
This is the lake where people come to get away from the tension between the barns. It is very relaxing but the water is known to be very cold. Off into the trees, the mouth of the Bridwell river connects itself to the Sarah Moon Lake as the inflow. There's also the 'secret' Moonlight Hollow that 'No one knows about', if you look for it.
Ranahan's is a Dancehall located on Highway 90, near Bozeman. The bar itself is rather small and set off to the side with several booths nearby it. There are several pool tables and a mechanical bull near the bar, for those needing to lose a little tension. The center of the building is a large wooden dance floor and a small stage centered off in the back. Local bands and singers can book a night with the owner, Stephen Reiner, to come and show off their talents here. Line dancing is the dancing of choice at Ranahan's, along with the slow dances, though on Thursday nights there is a Hip Hop night. Sundays are family night where anyone can come and enjoy the fun.
An aged apartment not five minutes from the Loving stables, this charming building is modeled after those of old England and has five stories of beautifully designed rooms.
Each room contains two beds, a restroom and a living room.
Here you may advertise your site. Your site must have a guest friendly board for us to ad Broken Northern on. This board will be closed when we see fit.
